Genetic testing sampling standards
1. Peripheral blood
● Free DNA storage tube collection, 10ml;
● Ensure that samples are transported in shockproof condition at 2~30℃.
2. Frozen tissue
● Intraoperative resection of tissue specimens and puncture specimens;
● The volume is larger than soybeans and the weight is greater than 60mg; the puncture specimen is greater than or equal to one needle; the tumor content in frozen sections is greater than 20%;
● It is recommended that specimens be frozen directly in liquid nitrogen, followed by freezing at -80°C; specimens stored within half a year should be taken;
● Collection by screw tube or Falcon tube; cold chain express transportation (-20℃).
3. Paraffin embedded tissue (FFPE)
● Puncture specimens, fine needle aspiration specimens, and intraoperative resection tissue specimens;
● Only formalin can be used for fixation, other types of fixation methods (methanol, AZF, etc.) cannot be used, and decalcification cannot be used;
● 11 slices of 8~10um thickness, and the 6th slice was stained with HE; the tumor content in the slice was greater than 20%;
● Shockproof transportation at normal temperature.
Note: All tissue samples must be sent with adjacent cancer tissues or 10 ml of peripheral blood collected in cell-free DNA storage tubes. For detailed sample collection methods, please refer to the sampling instructions for each sample type attached in the sampling box.
